Fundraiser and launch celebration

After months of brainstorming and careful planning, Music from Poplar Hill - the Jo Ricks Music Series was launched  on November 2, 2019 with a memorable fundraiser and celebration at the private home of two of our generous supporters. The evening was abundant with great food, conversation, memories of Jo, and a spectacular recital of music for four hands by the superb young Washington, DC pianists Elizabeth Hill and Jason Solounias.
